Our Story
Welcome to My Persian Version, a little corner of the world where nostalgia meets modern design, and every piece tells a story.
I’m Behnoosh, a proud Iranian-American mom, maker, and storyteller at heart. Professionally, I’ve spent years building a career in marketing and product management, where I learned how to blend creativity with strategy and turn ideas into meaningful experiences.
But long before job titles and deadlines, I was a creative soul, a dreamer, sketchbook keeper, and lover of beautiful details. I’ve always found joy in color, texture, scent, and the stories objects carry with them. It’s in my nature to create, to imagine, and to find meaning in the little details.
I created My Persian Version as a love letter to my roots and a way to carry the warmth of Persian culture into everyday life. From the scent of saffron and rosewater lingering in my grandmother’s kitchen to the poetry of Hafez recited on star-filled nights, my heritage is filled with beauty, resilience, and magic, and I wanted to share a piece of that with you.
At My Persian Version, you’ll find apparel, home décor, and gifts inspired by centuries of Persian art, poetry, and tradition, with a modern, playful twist. Whether it’s a celestial candle named after an ancient star map, a cozy sweatshirt embroidered with Farsi phrases, or a cheeky mug that only your Persian auntie would get, every item is designed to spark nostalgia and start conversations.
We believe in creating consciously. That’s why everything in our shop is made to order, reducing waste and ensuring every piece is made just for you. Our products are designed with love, a dash of insider humor, and a whole lot of Persian soul. If you’ve ever laughed at a classic “dokhtar khaleh” moment or debated the right way to make tahdig, you’re in good company here.
This shop isn’t just about products. It’s about community. About keeping old stories alive and making new memories. About celebrating where we come from and the versions of ourselves we’re becoming.
Thank you for being here. I hope you find something that feels like home.
Ba Eshgh,
Behnoosh
